Elgin, Illinois carries a remarkable watchmaking heritage built on craftsmanship, precision and the enduring value of time.
Years after making Elgin my home, I discovered that history. It rekindled a fascination with watches that began in my early teens and inspired a new question: what if a watch could celebrate life’s milestones instead of simply measuring time?
The idea for Milestone 13 was conceived in Elgin—a new brand inspired by the city’s legacy and created for the moments that define our lives.

The Founder’s Story
Long before Milestone 13 became a brand, watches had already captured my imagination.
As a teenager, I would sit on the floor and open watches just to understand what was inside. I was fascinated by the gears, the movement and the precision of so many small parts working together.
I could take them apart. Putting them back together was another story.
Years later, after moving to Elgin, Illinois, I discovered the city’s remarkable watchmaking history. It felt like two parts of my life had quietly come together—the curiosity that began in childhood and the heritage of the city I now called home.
Milestone 13 grew from that connection.
What began with curiosity became a deeper belief: a watch can hold more than time. It can carry memory, meaning and the milestones that shape a life.
